Virginia Tech will sponsor a workshop Oct. 20-21 in Blacksburg, Va.

        The workshop is intended for new sales and marketing personnel and employees who are unfamiliar with the forest products industry.

        Topics to be covered include marketing concepts and basics, marketing strategy, easy market research methods, successful sales presentations, successful personal selling, goal setting, and industry trends.

        The workshop will be taught by Dr. Robert Smith, Dr. Robert Bush, and Dr. Tom Hammett, professors at Virginia Tech.
