Lignomat Offers Wireless Pre-Dryer Control System

††††††† Lignomat offers a wireless pre-dryer control system that ensures pre-drying lumber in optimum time and with minimum degrade.

††††††† Climate conditions in a pre-dryer must be carefully controlled because the lumber is very vulnerable to drying defects, such as honeycombing and checking. One of the critical aspects of controlling the climate is the distribution of sensors throughout the pre-dryer; this is made more difficult by the large size of a pre-dryer building and frequently changing loading patterns.

††††††† Lignomatís LMS-16PD wireless system allows great flexibility. A mobile EMC station consists of an EMC sensor and a transmitter mounted on a platform with an extension to slide between the stickers. All measurements for temperature and EMC are transmitted to several receivers mounted to the pre-dryer walls. The only cables that have to be installed inside the pre-dryer connect the receivers to the control room.

††††††† Control systems that are not wireless are cumbersome to maintain and can pick up a lot of electrical noise that results in inaccurate, unstable readings.

††††††† The wireless technology used in Lignomatís LMS-16PD is a proven technology that is based on years of experience.

††††††† For more information, call Lignomat at (800) 227-2105, e-mail sales@lignomat.com or visit www.lignomat.com.

FECON Introduces New FTX325 Track Carrier

††††††† FECON has introduced its newest track carrier, the FTX325.

††††††† The FECON FTX325 is a mid-sized carrier with a powerful, Tier III 325 hp engine and durable steel tracks.

††††††† Equipped with a FECON Bull Hog 85 mulcher, which can mulch material in a 7-foot wide path, the machine weighs about 25,000 pounds.

††††††† The loader can tilt up to 30 degrees, allowing for high production even in tight places. Standard LC screen and user-friendly controls offer a comfortable operating environment.

††††††† The FECON FTX325 is suited for right-of-way clearing and maintenance, land clearing, making fire breaks, mulching brush and timber and fallen or damaged trees, and other forestry-related applications.

††††††† For more information, call FECON at (800) 528-3113 or visit www.fecon.com.

AIM Offers Heavy-Duty Buckets for Wheel Loaders

††††††† AIM Attachments now offers a complete line of heavy-duty loader buckets for wheel loaders of all sizes.

††††††† AIM GPL buckets feature durable construction with an AR400 steel cutting edge, reinforced corners and gussets. AR400 steel is tougher, harder and more wear resistant than other steel plate commonly used in attachments, and it is 30% stronger and 46% harder than T-1 steel, which is commonly used.

††††††† All buckets are pre-drilled to accept optional bolt-on side cutters and teeth. The GPL bucket design features an abrasion resistant bottom with thick wear straps. A sloped bottom design provides maximum dump clearance and maintains the breakout forces of the machine.
††††††† For more information, call AIM Attachments at (800) 803-3365 or visit www.aimattachments.com.
