3 Wood-Mizer Mills Offer Remote Control

Wood-Mizer now offers a wireless remote control option to operate three of the company’s thin-kerf portable band sawmills. This optional feature is now available for the LT40 Super Hydraulic model, the LT50 and the LT70.

With the wireless remote control, the sawmill operator can run the mill from any practical point around the sawmill, enabling him the best view of the work area. The device can be worn around the waist or with a break-away shoulder strap.

The wireless remote control operates the up-down, forward-reverse actions of the mill, the blade guide arm and other head controls.

It is powered by four C batteries protected in a weatherproof box. The device features armored and robust technology that prevents interference from frequency hopping.

The new wireless remote offers dual controls: the operator can use the standard, walk-along controls of the mill or switch to wireless for more freedom of movement.

Wood-Mizer is a leading manufacturer of portable band sawmills and also produces its own line of bandsaw blades.
