Wood-Mizer Attachment Converts Mill to Resaw
Wood-Mizer offers an attachment for its portable band sawmills that enables the sawmill to function as a horizontal band resaw.
The belt-fed resaw attachment will fit any Wood-Mizer sawmill model that is equipped with the power feed option.
With the attachment, the sawmill can resaw slabs to reclaim valuable lumber that normally would be lost, and it can resaw small cants into pallet parts. The attachment also can be used to split 4/4 lumber into two even pieces of lap siding, and it can produce roofing shingles with an optional ‘shingle belt.’
