JoeScan, Inc., a manufacturer of laser scan heads for sawmills and other wood-products applications, announced today that it has moved both its production and management functions to a new location, expanding to a larger space to accommodate current as well as anticipated growth.

Fiscal year 2010 marked a year of explosive sales growth for the company’s signature line of JS-20 scan heads, with a 260 percent increase. And FY 2011 has seen a continuation of the trend, with projected sales showing an additional 32 percent growth. In the last two years the company has sold scanners to optimization vendors in the United States, Africa, South America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

JoeScan’s new facility is located at 4510 NE 68th Drive, Suite 124, Vancouver, WA 98661, which is part of the new 14 Commerce business complex.

“We’re pleased to be expanding our sales and our facilities,” said Joey Nelson, founder and president of JoeScan. “Our customers understand that optimization equipment makes even more sense in today’s increasingly competitive wood-products market. We’re excited to be able to expand our production capabilities to meet their needs.”
