Tigercat Introduces Prototype Model 1018 Forwarder News release on Tigercat forwarder By Staff Date Posted: 9/4/2001 Tigercat Industries recently displayed its cut-to-length forestry machines — including the introduction of its prototype model 1018 forwarder — at the Elmia Wood trade show in Sweden. The model 1018 forwarder was designed for severe duty, a segment of the cut-to-length market that currently is unserved, according to Tigercat. The center section of the model 1018 forwarder is made with extra-thick steel plate and tapered roller bearings on both the oscillation and articulation joints. The luxury cab rotates 270 degrees for a wide range of view when loading or traveling with no effort required from the operator. At the trade show, Tigercat also exhibited its six-wheel and eight-wheel H16 harvesters, the eight-wheel H09 harvester, and F14 and F700 series Tigercat-Hemek forwarders. For more information, contact Tigercat at (519) 442-1000, e-mail comments@tigercat.com, or Web site at www.tigercat.com, or contact a Tigercat dealer. |
