The Liebherr A-924 hydraulic excavator is used with a grapple for log loading applications. It is powered by a Liebherr four-cylinder, turbo-charged diesel engine.

The Liebherr hydraulic system generates a maximum 5,075 psi. Four fixed hydraulic modes may be adjusted by the operator to adjust engine and hydraulic performance to match job conditions; all modes provide maximum full power.

The operator’s cab is sound insulated and features tinted windows, fully adjustable shock-absorbing suspension, six-way seat and joysticks integrated into adjustable seat consoles.

Liebherr offers a choice of cab elevations: rigid or hydraulic. The hydraulic cab elevation allows the operator to raise the height of the cab, increasing visibility.
