Cornell Industrial Corp. and LandEast Manufacturing have reached an agreement to jointly manufacture the existing patented ‘Clamp and Scan’ Edger Optimizer System.

The two companies will team to produce a state-of-the-art edger optimizer system that is capable of processing about 20 boards per minute in hardwood applications.

"Our intent is to provide the industry with a financially acceptable solution to a potentially cost-prohibitive problem: how to add edger optimization to the mill in order to improve yield and profits," Cornell said in a statement.
